Make sure the location box is set to search your Local Hard Drive (usually C:\ ) or All Local Drives.
The left and right sizing margins of the Titlebar graphic are set so that the "narrow" ends of the graphic are excluded from stretching/tiling and that the "end brackets" for the "wider" portion of the Titlebar are likewise excluded from stretching/tiling. This results in the right end of the Titlebar graphic (the part excluded from stretching/tiling by the sizing margin setting) is overlapping the corresponding left end of the graphic in small windows, any window which is narrower than the sum of the two sizing margin settings in fact, such as the Message Box in your linked image.

The magic pink problem may also be related to the overlapping of the images, though I'm less sure of that.

I don't know of a "fix" for this as I don't think WB can force small windows to be a minimum width.

1 - the laser is not creating pits due to media problems or laser failure at lower wavelengths.
2 - information not being read before writing.

The only suggestions I would have are:

1 - Try a different brand DVD media
2 - Try recording with or without creating an image first (whichever you have not tried)
3 - Try writing at the slowest possible speed with Nero, and tell it to verify the data after writing
4 - Try uninstalling the drive using Device Manager, and reboot to force Windows to reinstall the drivers

That's it for me, good luck.

<pubDateParsed>2008-07-25T00:24:12</pubDateParsed>
Corky_O on Problems with burning DVD-Rs.
