Got this to work by..

1,Unchecking "show pre release versions
2, Uninstall WindowBlinds via Impulse then Reboot
3, Open Impulse WindowBlinds Available version 6.10.084 7-10-2008
Install with Impulse, then all worked perfectly via WindowBlinds or MyColors

K. Got this to work for me as well.    Got one more question tho. When I down graded windowblinds. My version now says 6.10.055. What's up with that??

Rolled back to 6.10.084, all is well again. When recheck show pre-release versions in Impulse, 6.10a{b}.144 is showing as an update, if this is the version, seemingly update by MyColors, that caused the issues with Think Green, should it not be taken down?, or is it ok to update to it.??

I would leave it be for now if it is working. There is testing going on about the latest installs to make MyColors more friendly in situation like that. More info as we get it shall be posted.

Hey Seabass, just opened Impulse about an hour ago, latest beta update for WB was showing 6.10b[b].146, updated to it and all looks to be working fine, have Think Green WB applied right now.

Just to update, all of the above works for XP's Think Green.

Much thanks to RickJP and Cavan1!

I went ahead and re-dl'd Think Green after last nights little hiccup. It seems to apply correctly. It still shows up in MC as "Think%20Green with a funky icon.It was correct when first installed, but not after the last two re-installs.Any way to fix this?

Go into your "c:\documents and settings\all users\shared documents\stardock\thememanager" directory and find the file Think%20Green.Mycolors and rename it Think Green.Mycolors. Worked for me

Had the same prob Wiz. What I had to do was uninstall Think Green from My Colors, then manually removed the blinds from Documents and Settings \ All Users (hidden)\ Shared Documents \ Stardock \ WindowBlinds \ Think Green.

Re-downloading Think Green after this and the correct name should display in My Colors.

I'm running XP and had to jump through a few hoops. I still can't get the TG Weather to work even after clearing my widget cache. And my once transparent explorer background is now grainy and funky looking.

BUT! Mercifully I finally got Think green to work!

Let me know if this helps some Wiz!

Woo-Hoo,it worked! That was too easy. Thanks a bunch!!!
I better load it and check it for any problems today.I only applied and un-applied it after dl.

It did create a gadget folder in my start-up menu. It's not a start-up item,it's a weather gadget and it's only associated with one theme.
Was that really necessary?

It is a start up item if you want it to auto start on boot.

Change theme or turn off autorun and it will go from your start-up menu.
